Wounded Warriors Canada is proud to host an unforgettable 5-day cycling journey, commemorating the brave Canadians who fought to liberate the country during WW II. Together, we will honour the bravery and sacrifice that forged ties between our two nations that continue to this day.

THE 2025 BATTLEFIELD BIKE RIDE
Join a meaningful 5-day cycling journey from Bergen op Zoom to Deventer, retracing the steps of the First Canadian Army who from September 1944 to May 1945 liberated the people of the Netherlands who endured five long years of occupation and oppression. As we pedal through picturesque landscapes, we’ll pause at key sites to honour the brave Canadians who fought for the Netherlands’ liberation, including more than 7,600 who made the ultimate sacrifice on the road to victory.

ABOUT THE BATTLEFIELD BIKE RIDE
The Battlefield Bike Ride is a signature event inspired by Wounded Warriors Canada’s guiding ethos: Honour the Fallen and Help the Living. The ride supports Wounded Warriors Canada’s mental health programs, benefitting ill and injured Trauma Exposed Professionals (TExP) and their families across Canada.
Participants include serving and retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans, active and retired First Responders, as well as Canadians from coast to coast who care about those who serve and sacrifice so much.
